It is sad to have to say, but the car season is over for 2024. Although there will be some intermitant nice days in November, most of the vehicles will be nicely tucked away for the winter,(unless they are being worked on). This has been our best season yet and we look forward to another next year as we all work hard to continue to grow the interest in our car culture.
We ended our year with 149 members.
The Valley Cruisers held our last meeting for this year on November 17th and handed out donations for local children’s charities (List is at the bottom of this page). There will be NO meeting in December.
Election of officers was held and remains unchanged from 2024.
Our next events will be our annual auction in February, as well as the Annual Bowling Challenge. Please stay tuned for any updates here and on facebook.
Our Coffee and Conversation on Wednesday evenings at Tim Hortons behind McEsso have resumed and start at 7 pm.
Club meetings will now be on the THIRD Sunday of the month.
Our next club meeting is to be held on January 19th, 2025, at the KV Fire Station #1 on Campbell Drive in Rothesay, time is 7 pm.
The Valley Cruisers wish to thank everyone for their continued support at our 43rd Annual Show and Shine at Rothesay Superstore on Sept 22, what a great day it was. We thank all the sponsors, attendees and volunteers who made this such a resounding success. The best turnout in our 43 year history. We had entries from as far away as Halifax and Maine, as well as so many locals that aren’t able to make our regular Wednesday cruise night. It was nice to see as many vehicles make the trek down from the Sussex Asphalt Angels.
Without our sponsors and Rothesay Superstore(manager – Shawn Wilson) allowing us to use their parking lot for this event and every Wednesday evening for our cruise nights, this would not be possible;
Hats off to everyone
