Donation Presentations from The Valley Cruisers Car Club

The Valley Cruisers Car Club once again stay true to their commitment to contribute donations to various Local Children’s Charities. This year on Nov 13th 2016 they divided up $18,000 up from $10,000 in 2015 in support of their yearly promise. Proceeds were presented to IWK, Atlantic Burn Camp, Child Find, The Joshua Group, The Empty Stocking Fund, Juvenile Diabetes, Girl Guides . The Valley Cruisers started off as a small group of car enthusiasts in the cool early month of February 1981. The Club sponsors a weekly Wednesday Night Cruise to various locations in and around Saint John & is asked to participate in local company functions to attract visitors with their older vehicles with eye catching paint jobs & glistening chrome. From June to October, Poker runs, Barbecues & 50/50 Draws help with the fund raising. Generally around the third week of May the storage doors open, covers come off the wax & buffers emerge. The Annual Indoor Show is a weekend long event that is the bulk of our fund raising. This upcoming May 2017 will be the 36th year, we encourage any & all car lovers to participate or attend to show support of not only the vehicles but to contribute to the donation we present to these Children’s charities every year. The Car Club is open for anyone to join regardless if you own an antique, classic, car, truck, hot-rod or motorcycle a brand new car, everyday beater or no vehicle at all & just enjoy the company of like minded car buffs. Meetings are once a month everyone is welcome to attend, and all information, schedules, meeting dates and contacts can be found on our website www.valleycruisersnb.ca.
